The containers were equipped with windows, doors, and a ramp at the rear, enabling the loading of military equipment, such as guns or light all-terrain vehicles. They could also be used for parachute deployment of soldiers. On the ground, if necessary, these universal containers could be towed on a trailer by military vehicles. Curtiss H-75A/Mohawk IV 'Allied Pilots'
The Curtiss H-75 was the export version of the American P-36 Hawk (Curtiss Model 75) fighter of the mid-1930s. The biggest foreign customer was France, taking deliveries of aircraft designated the H-75A-1, 2, 3 and 4, with the first planes entering service in the spring of 1939. They were modified for French Air Force usage and fitted with different equipment and armament. Of the fourth French sub-variant ordered, the H-75A-4 (H-751), only a handful reached the country before it surrendered to Nazi Germany in June 1940, while the rest of 190 a/c were taken over by the RAF as the Mohawk IV. These aircraft were sent to overseas and used in India and Burma while a great number of them was also supplied to the South African Air Force.
The H-75/Mohawk was a single-seat, all-metal low-wing monoplane with fabric-covered control surfaces. It had a retractable undercarriage with the main landing gear rotated 90° to fold flat into the wing. The A-3 variant was powered by a Pratt & Whitney R-1830 Twin Wasp two-row radial, while the Mohawk IV was equipped with a Wright R-1820 Cyclone single-row radial engine; both were fitted with Curtiss Electric propellers. The armament consisted of two machine guns in the nose and another two guns in each wing A small bomb carrier was also mounted under each outer part of the wing.
The Curtiss H-75 was used most extensively and successfully by the French Armée de l’Air during the Battle of France. A number of aircraft were also later used by the Free French Air Forces in Africa.
Colour schemes included in the kit:
1) Curtiss H-75A-3, No.230, White O, flown by Sgt. Marcel Milan, Free French Air Forces (Forces aériennes françaises libres, FAFL), Bangui airfield, Ubangi-Shari, French Equatorial Africa (Afrique-Equatoriale française, AEF), May 1941
2) Curtiss H-75A-3, No. 329, flown by S/Lt Lubomír Úlehla, Pilot’s School, Free French Air Forces (Forces aériennes françaises libres, FAFL), Kasbah-Tadla airfield, Marocco, North Africa, 1944/45
3) Curtiss Mohawk Mk. IV, 2537 (ex-RAF Mohawk Mk. IV, BJ536), flown by the Flight Commander, No.3 ?Fighting Wasp? Sq., South African Air Force, Alamata airfield, Ethiopia, Africa, summer 1941

Curtiss H-751/75A-7/Mohawk IV 'Europe & Overseas'
The Curtiss H-75 was the export version of the American P-36 Hawk (Curtiss Model 75) fighter of the mid-1930s. The biggest foreign customer was France, taking deliveries of aircraft designated the H-75A-1, 2, 3 and 4, with the first planes entering service in the spring of 1939. They were modified for French Air Force usage and fitted with different equipment and armament. The H-75A-4 was locally renamed the H-751, of which 97 were shipped from the U.S.A.; however, only a handful reached France before it surrendered to Nazi Germany in June 1940 while the rest (190 a/c) were taken over by the RAF as the Mohawk IV.
The H-75s (the A-7 model) were also ordered by the Netherlands, but they did not arrive in time in Europe and 20 of them were diverted to the Dutch East Indies in May 1940.
The H-75A-7/Mohawk IV was a single-seat, all-metal low-wing monoplane with fabric-covered control surfaces. It had a retractable undercarriage with the main landing gear rotated 90° to fold flat into the wing. Powered by a Wright R-1820 Cyclone single-row radial engine, it was fitted with Curtiss Electric propeller. The H-75’s armament consisted of two machine guns in the nose and another two guns (Mohawk) or one (H-75A-7) in each wing. A small bomb carrier could also be mounted under each outer part of the wing.
The Dutch H-75s saw action against Japan in 1941-42, but the remaining aircraft were withdrawn from operational use early in 1942. The RAF’s Mohawk Mk.IVs were sent to overseas and used in India and Burma while a great number of them was also supplied to the South African Air Force. Post-war, a handful remaining French H-751s were re-engined and used in flying schools to train pilots.
Colour schemes included in the kit:
1) Curtiss H-751 (H-75A-4), No.51, White 1, École de l’Air (Flying School), French Air Force (Armée de l’Air), Cazaux airfield (BA 706), France, 1946-49

4) Curtiss Mohawk Mk.IV (ex-Iranian H-75A-9), LA164, White 6, No.1 OTU (India), Royal Air Force, Risalpur airfield, North-West Frontier, India, June 1942

Michael Wittmann WWII German Tank Ace Limited Edition
Michael Wittmann was a German tank commander who achieved legendary status during World War II. Born on April 22 1914 in Vogelthal, Germany, he joined the German Army in 1934. His career took a decisive turn when he joined the elite Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler in 1937.
Wittmann quickly distinguished himself as a skilled tank commander, earning numerous decorations for bravery and tactical acumen. He is most famous for his exploits during a clash between British and German forces in the small French village of Villers-Bocage on June 13 1944, a week after the D-Day landings. Wittman commanded a Tiger tank in a daring ambush against British forces, inflicting heavy losses.
Despite his reputation as a formidable adversary, Wittmann's life ended on August 8 1944, aged 30, when his Tiger tank was destroyed near Hill 112 in Normandy. Wittmann's life and exploits have been the subject of numerous books, documentaries, and, more recently, video games.

Messerschmitt Bf-109E-4 A Revolutionary Breakthrough in Warplane Design! Please see the pictures!
Dragon Models is proud to announce a revolutionary new project that’s 10 years in the making! The first item of Dragon’s new Wing Tech 2 series, the 1/48 Bf109E-4N boasts multiple engineering breakthroughs never seen before in Warplane model kits.
Developed over ten years using meticulous research and working together with the industry’s top plastic mould engineers to fine-tune our tooling technology, Dragon has achieved the first ever one-piece fuselage that will set the new standard in modelling! Prepare for a new age in Air Superiority!
Overview of the Kit sprues including the revolutionary one-piece fuselage and Dragon’s first ever offering with multi-colored parts.
One-Piece Fuselage
Traditionally, the fuselage is presented in two halves, which are glued together. Then, additional puttying and sanding are needed to eliminate the gap lines. However, this process can be time consuming and can produce negative results such as sanding off the details on the fuselage.
Dragon’s breakthrough engineering eliminates this problem by using multi-direction slide-moulds to produce the fuselage in one single piece.
Additional Key Features:
Complete Engine reproduced in accurate detail
Wings plug directly into the one-piece fuselage for better stability during assembly. State of the art engineering ensures quick and simple assembly without compromising the detail and quality of the model kit.
Wing joints are cleverly hidden beneath the curved leading edge of the upper wing to reduce the need for puttying and sanding. The result is a perfect-looking wing that can be built without additional time-consuming work.
Unrivalled detail on the engine and inside the cockpit. Also included are Dragon’s one-piece canopy
Our Wing Tech 2 series is a part of Dragon’s Engineering Revolution 2.0, in which our items are developed with the modellers in mind. For many years, Dragon has continually raised the bar in providing the highest detailed model kit products in the market. However, the higher level of detail comes at a cost, which is more parts, more assembly, and longer build times.
Keeping that in mind, our latest series utilizes the industry’s most sophisticated moulding techniques ever and simplifies the building process without compromising the details that Dragon is famous for. The result is a next generation model kit that has the highest level of details and accuracy, yet easier and less time consuming to build!
