Dassault_Mirage IIIC ‘Southern Hemisphere Fighter’ The Mirage IIIC was the first Western European aircraft to exceed Mach 2 in level flight. It became the basis of the Mirage IIIC, IIIE and 5 family of aircraft that still keep flying today. It was a symbol of Israel's superiority in wars with its Arab neighbours. Israeli Mirage IIICs participated in the War over Water, the Six-Day War, the War of Attrition and the Yom Kippur War, and many smaller conflicts. Many Israeli pilots became aces in the Mirage IIIC. But of course, the Mirage IIIC was also introduced to the Armée de l'Air's inventory. Another export customer that purchased the Mirage IIIC was South Africa. The SAAF Air Force received 15 examples of this version, and later, other machines were delivered in the IIIE and IIIR versions. In South Africa, Mirage IIICs were used for a long time and were deployed in conflicts with neighbouring countries. Not even the UN embargo prevented this.
Argentina also faced an embargo after losing the Falklands War. Therefore, the country purchased nineteen Mirage IIICs from Israel in 1982-83 and used them until 1990.
The kit contains seven styrene sprues and one with clear parts. The decals offer three SAAF machines, each in a different colour scheme (two camouflaged and one natural metal finish) and two FAA machines, one in two different camouflages from two different units.

- highly detailed model kit
- attractive colour schemes and decals
- also available – pre-cut masks M72041, accessory sets Q72401Mirage IIIC Wheels, Q72402 Mirage IIIC Mirage IIIC Atar 9B Engine Nozzle and Q72403 Mirage IIIC Seat. Price:£17.83

Douglas A-20G Havoc ‘Over Europe and Pacific’ The American A-20 Havoc / Boston twin-engine bombers were deployed on many battlefields of World War II. They were very successful in the Pacific. The A-20G version was equipped with large-caliber machine guns in the nose, the rear hemisphere was guarded with a gun turret with a pair of machine guns of the same caliber. This armament was used in ground attacks, along with bombs dropped from low altitude. In addition to the American ones, RAAF Bostons were also deployed in the Pacific. Australian Bostons organized popular bomb ‘tea parties’. In Europe, the A-20G operated from bases in Italy and Great Britain as tactical bombers in large formations. They were mostly led by A-20Ks with a glass nose and Norden sights. After the invasion of Europe, the A-20G also operated from French bases. This also applies to one of the machines offered in our kits. The machine with invasion stripes was decorated with a drawing of a beauty inspired by famous Vargas. Three more aircraft operated in the Pacific. Two American ones were decorated with nose art, one with a fierce beast mouth on the nose. The last aircraft flew with No.22 Sqn. RAAF.
The kit offers detailed A-20G parts, broken down into five sprues of grey plastic and a sprue of clear parts.

de Havilland DH.94 Moth Minor ‘Under the Southern Cross’. Decals will be RAAF, RNZAF and a civilian South African machine. In 1937, De Havilland designed the DH.94 Moth Minor as a modern replacement for the DH.82 Tiger Moth biplane. The DH.94 was produced for civilian customers until 1940, when the production was switched for the military. Civilian aircraft were confiscated for the needs of the RAF. They were used as couriers and liaison aircraft. One aircraft, delivered to Egypt, served with the USAAF during the war and flew with American markings. Five DH.94s flew with the RNZAF in New Zealand and two ex-civil aircraft were used to train SAAF pilots in South Africa. All production tools, unfinished aircraft and materials for the production of the DH.94 were shipped to Australia in 1940 to the subsidiary De Havilland Australia. There, DH.94 production was resumed, on order from the RAAF which eventually received forty DH.94 airframes. Then production was stopped in favour of the DH.82 Tiger Moth, which was chosen as the standard RAAF trainer. DH.94s were used to train RAAF pilots until the end of the war. The surviving machines were sold to civilian interested parties and were at the birth of sport aviation in Australia. Similarly, machines confiscated during the war for the RAF and FAA were returned to civilian users. At least two DH.94s were converted to Coupé versions after the war. Several machines still fly today, in Britain, Australia and the USA.
The Moth Minor model kit consists of two grey styrene sprues and a clear windshield parts sprue. Decals are offered for two RAAF machines, an RNZAF machine and a civilian machine from South Africa.

de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito NF Mk.30 ‘The Uhu Hunter’ The de Havilland Mosquito was a versatile twin-engine aircraft that was one of the best aircraft of World War II. It was not without reason that it was called the ‘Wooden Wonder’. It was used as a night fighter, fighter-bomber, bomber, reconnaissance, anti-ship or special transport aircraft. The first generation of Mosquitos were powered by Merlin engines with single-stage superchargers. In the spring of 1943, two-stage Merlins with higher performance at higher altitudes were installed in the Mosquito. This concerned the reconnaissance and bombing versions. The night fighter versions did not receive the two-stage Merlins until 1944. In the second half of 1944, the RAF deployed a new version of the Mosquito NF Mk.30 designed for the night fighter role. It was used both in the defense of Britain against German bombers and V-1 missiles, and to escort its own night bombers. The new Mosquitos were more powerful than any Luftwaffe propeller-driven night fighter, including the He 219.
The new, highly detailed kit is broken down to five sprues of grey plastic parts and one with clear parts. Decals are offered for the aircraft of British ace Walter Gibb, the aircraft of the Czechoslovak sqn. RAG, the Polish sqn. RAF, the aircraft of the RAAF squadron operating in Britain and the USAAF aircraft operating from Italy.. Price:£21.66

Vickers Wellington Mk.IC The Vickers Wellington is one of the symbols of the bombing offensive against Germany. After heavy losses in daytime raids at the beginning of the war, Wellingtons switched to night raids. They kept flying in this role for the entire first half of the war. Then they were transferred to Coastal Command, where they served as anti-submarine aircraft. They formed the armament of British RAF squadrons, but foreign squadrons, Czechoslovak, Polish, New Zealand and Canadian, also received them.
The kit contains six sprues of gray plastic parts, one with clear parts, resin cast exhausts and a sheet of decals. These offer markings for two machines of Polish squadrons, one of them in anti-submarine scheme. The other machines flew in RAF night scheme. In addition to the Polish one, named Elzunia (Lissie), the decals contain the markings for two Wellingtons of RAF squadrons. One of them, with a large emblem under the cockpit, flew in Africa. The second, purchased with the money of the native king Nana Sir Ofori Atta I, KBE, ruler of the Akyem Abuakwa Kingdom in the British colony of the Gold Coast (now Ghana), operated from Britain. The last machine from the offer is one of the most successful Wellingtons of No.311 (Czechoslovak) Sqn. RAF. Price:£24.42

Dassault SMB-2 Super Mystere The French SMB-2 Super Mystere jet fighter became the first Western European fighter to break the speed of sound in level flight. Until the advent of the Mirage III, the SMB-2 was the most powerful French fighter. After the introduction of the Mirage III, the Super Mysteres were transferred to fighter-bomber units, where they served for a very long time. The SMB-2 was also exported to Israel. In the battles against Arab superiority, the SMB-2 proved its worth, but, like in France, they were used as fighter-bombers after the delivery of the Mirage III fighters. In Israel, the SMB-2 was modified by installing an American engine. After being decommissioned from the IAF, the remaining Israeli SMB-2s were delivered to Honduras. The kit contains mouldings with both engine variants. The decal sheet, originally used in kit SH72417, offers two Israeli machines with the original Atar 9B engine and one Israeli machine with the American Pratt & Whitney J52 engine.

Douglas DC-2 ‘Transport Revolution’ In August 1932, the Trans World Airlines called on five aircraft manufacturers to submit proposals for a new transport aeroplane based on TWA's specifications. Douglas company accepted that challenge and decided to design a highly advanced twin engine aircraft. The first prototype known as the DC-1 (Douglas Commercial No.1) took to the air for the first time on 1 July 1933. TWA placed an order for 20 production aircraft which were redesignated the DC-2 and had Wright Cyclone SGR-1820-F3 power plants, their fuselage was a bit longer and accomodated 14 passenger seats. The first of the DC-2s took off on 11 May 1934 and its flying career with the TWA commenced on 18 May. Regular flight operations of DC-2 began in July. The Douglas factory manufactured about 200 DC-2s which went to serve both with civilian operators and the military. A licence was also bought by Japanese Nakajima that produced six aircraft for domestic Dai Nippon Koku Kobushiki Kaisha. DC-2s quickly spread not only among airliners operating in the US, the succesfull type also flew with a wide range of Europe-based airliner companies, among which were the Swissair, KLM and also the ?eskoclovenská Letecká Spole?nost / Czechoslovak Air Company. The introduction of the DC-2 brought a revolution in the air transport, both in its safety and the economy of operation. The DC-2 was followed by even more famous DC-3 / C-47 Dakota type.
The plastic model kit comes on three styrene sprues, one with clear parts and also offers a set of nicely detailed 3D-printed parts. The decal sheet brings markings for four DC-2 as flown over four continents. Over America it was the machine of EAL, Asia is represented by the machine named Tsukuba of the Japanese Dai Nipon Koku Kobushiki Kaisha, over Australia flew the Pengana which is portrayed both in the ANA and AOA livery. And Europa is represented by Czechoslovak OK-AIC.

- a real beauty among airliners
- machines with interesting history
- large decal sheet
- detail 3D-printed parts. Price:£29.67
