<description>Martin B-57 Canberra in Vietnam
An American-built version of the famous British Canberra bomber, the B-57 was the first U.S. jet bomber to see combat in the Vietnam conflict. From its role in the earliest strikes to its relentless campaign against the Ho Chi Minh Trail, the B-57 was a tireless workhorse, carrying out missions that defined the air war and cemented its place as a vital, if understated, combat veteran of the war.
This new decal set covers the service of the Martin B-57 Canberra during the Vietnam War, featuring a variety of aircraft from the initial deployment of the 8th and 13th Bomb Squadrons to the later period with specialized versions such as the RB-57E &quot;Patricia Lynn&quot; and B-57G &quot;Night Hawk&quot;.
These decals are designed for the Airfix or Testors/Italeri 1/72 scale kits, and includes accurate period-specific stencilling designed to Caracal&#039;s high standards. We believe many of the details in our stencilling and marking options have never been accurately represented in decal form before.
