Description:
Fairchild A-10C Hoosier Hawgs. The 122nd FW traces it's history back to the 358th Fighter Group that was activated in January 1943. Flying P-47 Thunderbolts, their primary mission was bomber escort but as the Allies advanced, their role shifted to ground support and "tank busting".
