Honda CB1000F
This model assembly kit recreates the HONDA CB1000F in 1/12 scale with all the details and intricacies motorcycle model builders have come to know from Tamiya.

About the Honda CB1000F
Honda’s CB series of road sport bikes has a long and proud history of innovation; it started with the 1959 Benly CB92 Super Sports and includes machines such as the genre-defining 1969 CB750 FOUR and its inline-four engine, the DOHC 4-valve engine CB750F/900F developed for the European market, and the race-focused 1981 CB1100R. Fast forward to March 2025 and Honda announced that its existing flagship CB1300SF would be passing on the torch to the CB1000F Concept. Shortly after, in November of that year it went on sale as the CB1000F. The CB1000F’s “Best Balance Roadster” design concept demanded that it be at home in a variety of scenes from everyday use to touring. It inherits and updates the iconic “Flowing Line” styling popularized on its CB750F/900F predecessors, the shape flowing smoothly from the tank right back to the rear cowl, via the side covers to give the bike its powerful and speedy silhouette. The round LED headlight catches the eye with its modern, yet traditional design encircled by a ring-shaped light and featuring a plated rim and central section inscribed with the HONDA logo. At the rear, the seat’s surface pattern is inspired by the CB750F, and the eye is drawn to design cues like the large taillight and the muffler that dominates the right side of the bike. Sources say the CB designation stands for the C in “motorcycle” and the B in “clubman,” but it could be argued that this new iteration has a C for “creative” and a B for “benchmark.” Either way, it promises hours of stress-free riding for all: another icon in a series full of them.

• Features realistic depictions of the liquid-cooled inline-4 engine and radiator hoses featuring mesh patterns.
• One-piece part authentically recreates fuel tank and front fender together to limit parting lines.
• Chain is split into right and left halves and finely recreates roller sections.

M24 Chaffee U.S. Light Tank European Theatre

This model kit recreates the Chaffee as it appeared in the European Theater of operations during World War II.

About the Chaffee
Developed as the successor to the M3/M5 Stuart light tanks, the M24 Chaffee was formally adopted in 1944. The Chaffee employed sloped armor on both the turret and hull and availed itself of considerable firepower in the shape of the 75mm main gun, which was originally developed for the B-25 bomber. Somewhat unusual for a U.S. tank, its designers adopted a torsion bar suspension setup. It was in time to see action before the end of WWII, deployed as Allied forces swept through France and Western Europe, and battled in Italy. Post-war, it experienced fighting in major 20th century conflicts such as the Korean War and the Indochina War.

• 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 159mm, width: 87mm.
• Intricate details include gun shield, cast surface patterns on the front turret and weld lines are faithfully depicted.
• Slide molded fenders feature realistic depictions of bolts and ease of assembly.
• Fender sand shield parts are also included as possibility.
• Assembly type tracks have one-piece straight sections.
• Photo-etched part depicts mesh rack for stowing tarp at rear panel.
• Molded tow cable parts.
• Includes parts to make turret interior features such as main gun breech and transceiver.
• Two torso figures recreating commander and loader are included.
• Comes with three marking options to recreate a 1st Armored Division in Italy and two vehicles in Germany in 1945.. Price:£34.99

KAMAN SYNCHROPTER
HTK-1/TH-43E, HOK-1/OH-43D, HUK-1/UH-43C

By Tommy Thomason and Steve Ginter
ISBN: 979-8-9899509-4-2

80 pages, 174 B&W photos, 8 color photos, 51 drawjngs, 15 patches

In 1945, there were several aircraft companies involved in helicopter design, test and production in America. The smallest and least well financed one had just been incorporated by a 26 year old Charles Kaman to pursue a synchropter design and flight control concept which featured a pair of intermeshing rotors with small sero-tabs attached to the blades to twist them in flight. This design proved the Kaman’s to be much easier to control in a hover than a conventional helicopter and eliminated the need of a tail rotor. After flight testing two company-funded prototypes, Kaman sold or leased a handful of these synchropters primarily for use as crop dusters. Fortunately, just as the fledgling company was on the brink of bankrupcy in 1949, the Navy became interested. The Navy ended up purchasing for itself and the Marines; 29 small 3-place HTK-1/TH-43E trainers, 83 4-place Marine HOK-1/OH-43D observation and rescue helicopters, and 24 5-place HUK-1/UH-43C transport and utility helicopters. These aircraft were operated into 1965 and the design was eventually developed into the turbine powered H-43B/F Huskie used by the USAF in Vietnam.

M1A1 Abrams UKRAINE
Veteran Warrior
The M1A1 Abrams was adopted by U.S. forces in August 1984, and while it was originally equipped with a rifled 105mm gun, a later upgrade to a 120mm smoothbore piece significantly improved its offensive capabilities. Also given a precision fire control system and a 1,500hp gas turbine engine, when the M1A1 was fielded in the Gulf War in 1991, it proved more than a match for enemy T-72 tanks. It has remained in service with timely upgrades over the years, and in January 2023 it was announced that the U.S. would send around thirty M1A1s to Ukraine.

M18 Hellcat The M18 Hellcat was an American tank destroyer developed to counter the German Army tanks, and it featured an open top design turret and powerful 76mm gun, plus a main gun breech rotated 45 degrees around the gun barrel to save space in the turret interior. It had a compact, lightweight hull, automatic transmission and the first torsion bar suspension seen on U.S. armor. Its radial 9-cylinder engine at the hull rear was capable of 80km/h maximum speed which was the highest speed among tracked vehicles during WWII. The production started in July, 1943 and the Hellcat was in service for the first time at the Italian Front in 1944. After that, this tank destroyer was deployed in the North-Western European and Pacific War theaters, notably besting the German Army tanks with super performance and firepower based on hit-and-run tactics. The Hellcat contributed to U.S. victory as a pioneer of tank destroyers.

Soviet Union/Russia/Warsaw Pact/People's Republic of China: PAG-14 pre-stressed concrete slab- early 1970's to present. 225mm(W) x 225mm(H) 9inches(W) x 9inches(H)

This model represents the 6 metre by 2 metre slab type that replaced the earlier 1.8 metre hexagonal slab in use from the 1950's to the early 1970's. By the 1980's, most Soviet/Russian and WarPac bases had been relaid with this type which provided much better load bearing capabilities and allowed for much easier installation on rough ground and replacement than its hexagonal predecessor. The slabs were pre-stressed longitudinally with a double layer of bars each measuring 12mm in diameter, and laterally with steel mesh. There were two lifting loops, one at each end of each side of the slab. Once the slab was laid, the loops were welded to each other and the joints between the slabs was sealed with mastic.

Applicable aircraft types (with NATO reporting names). Many of these are also applicable to KWB48-481:

Aero L-29 Delfin Maya, L-39/L-59/L-159 Albatros.

Soviet Union/Russia/Warsaw Pact/People's Republic of China: PAG-14 pre-stressed concrete slab- early 1970's to present. 450mm(W) x 450mm(H) 17inches(W) x 17inches(H).

Antonov An-12 Cub, An-22 Antei Cock, An-24 Coke, An-26 Curl, An-30 Clank, An-32 Cline, An-72 Coaler, An-124 Condor, An-225 Cossack.

Gloster Meteor F.4 "World Speed Record" The very first British jet engine-powered fighter to see operational service was the Gloster Meteor. Following the wartime Meteor Mk.Is and Mk.IIIs, the production line gave also the post war Mk.4 version with much better performance. On 7 November 1945, two Meteor Mk.3s rebuilt to a Mk.4 standard were used to attempt the World Speed Record. The RAF High Speed Flight Meteors serialled EE454 and EE455 were flown by RAF's Group Captain Hugh Joseph Wilson, CBE, AFC and Two Bars and Gloster Chief Test Pilot Eric Stanley Greenwood. Wilson, flying the camouflaged EE454 was few more miles faster that Greenwood in (almost) all-yellow EE455, having raised the record to 975.68 kmh. Less than a year later, Gp Capt E M (Teddy) Donaldson in a Meteor serialled EE549 set up a new record of 991.33 kmh and in January 1947, the very same machine also raised the Paris-London speed record.
The kit comprises two styrene sprues and a clear injected canopy, a fret of photo-etched engine air intake meshes, adhesive masks for various style canopies (incl. the special high speed metal canopy with small transparent portholes) and a decal sheet for record breaking machines serialled EE454, EE455 and EE549. The latter is depicted in two various colour schemes (camouflaged and all-blue) and what may be most interesting, with two various styles of her outer wing panels as later during the career, she was seen fitted with a standard Mk.4 short span wing..
IJN Kagero Destroyer The Kagero was completed in November 1939, the lead ship of the Kagero class of destroyers that was the first constructed by the Japanese after their exit from the London Naval Treaty in 1937. The Kagero class packed a heavy punch with three twin 12.7cm gun placements and two 61cm quadruple torpedo tubes, and combined that with a top speed of 35 knots, plus a range of 5,000nmi at 18 knots. The Kagero took part in some of the most renowned actions on the seas in WWII, including the attack on Pearl Harbor in December 1941, the Battle of Midway in 1942, and major assasults on Rabaul and Colombo. Although largely starved of opportunities to show what it could do, in the November 1942 Battle of Tassafaronga the Kagero used its Type 93 "long lance" torpedoes to great effect, together with 8 other vessels scoring hits on the U.S. ships Minneapolis, New Orleans, Pensacola and Northampton, crippling and eventually sinking the latter. Many of her sorties were otherwise made ferrying reinforcements and supplies to Japanese bases. She met her end in May 1943, sunk by mines in the Blackett Strait off of Kolombangara.
Standard displacement: 2,000t Length: 118.5m, Beam: 10.8m Output: 52,000hp Top Speed: 35 knots Armament: L/50 12.7cm twin gun x3, 61cm quadruple torpedo tube x2, 25mm twin gun x2

Mercedes-Benz 300SL The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL is a piece of automobile legend, the famed German maker's super sports car with gull wings that once were seen, were never forgotten. It was a 1954 release, and drew largely upon a successful racing prototype from 2 years earlier, inheriting the inner mechanics of a race car and THAT sublime silhouette. What could the world do but embrace such a thing of beauty? In fact, the gull wings were not only an aesthetic masterstroke, they were born of necessity: the 300 SL's state-of-the-art tubular space frame made the use of "regular" side-opening doors somewhat impractical. The body had in fact received a few minor tweaks from the original prototype, resulting in a more elegant road-going sports car-esque appearance. Power was provided by an inline-6 engine that featured direct injection technology (a world first) that generated 215hp and a considerable amount of speed. Naturally, fans across the world clamored (and still do) to get their hands on the 300 SL.

About the Model
This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL. Length: 188mm, Width: 75mm, Height: 53mm. The complex tubular space frame is given a breathtaking rendition in 1/24 scale. It is constructed in the same way as that of the actual car. The sporty yet elegant form of the body is captured magnificently. Gull wing doors are moving, and can be left in open position. The engine hood also opens, to reveal the realistic recreation of the 300 SL's inline-6 engine. Nylon mesh is included to recreate the front intakes. Metal transfers are provided to depict mirror surfaces and logos.
Features realistic synthetic rubber tires.. Price:£47.99
