The Type 0 Model 21 (A6M2 Zero) was an early carrier-based fighter introduced by the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) in 1940. It played a major role in Japan's early Pacific War operations and became one of the most famous fighter aircraft of the Second World War.
Rabaul on the South Pacific island of New Britain was captured by the Japanese in early 1942 and became the IJN's principal forward air base in the region. The fighter component at Rabaul was predominantly equipped with Zeros.

The kit: Assemble with canopy open or closed. Build with wingtips folded or extended. Paint mask for canopy & propeller included. Choice of 4 markings.

N1 Starfighter: The Mandalorian Damaged box on delivery (same as RV6787) crushed end of box SAVE £12.021!!

N1 Starfighter: The Mandalorian
First introduced during a crossover episode of Disney+ series Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett, following the destruction of Mando's "Razor Crest"â„¢ at the hands of Moff Gideon, Mandalorian Din Djarin is looking for a new ride and finds it with the N-1. Formally a planetary defence starfighter from the planet, Naboo, Star Wars fans will recognise this as the type of ship first seen in Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace, as flown by the young Anakin Skywalker (later Darth Vader) with astromech R2-D2.

When we first see the N-1 on Tatooine, it's in a sorry state with faded chrome/paint and missing panels, but is soon rebuilt with much of the original faded yellow paint ground off, plus enhancements to seriously boost its top-end speed. Other modifications include the fitting of a pressurised dome over the astromech station for Groguâ„¢ to travel in. Advance to the start of series 3 of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, when Groguâ„¢ gets his first flight in the N-1 and encounters Purrgil, or "Space Whales" whilst flying through hyperspace. This also highlights that Groguâ„¢ is able to exit his "dome" and enter the cockpit whilst in-flight, travelling on Mando's lap.

Also shown in series 3, with Mando in need of an astromech to ensure the atmosphere is safe to breathe on home planet, Mandalore, the unwilling R5-D4** (or "Red") is recruited to temporarily take up the station behind the cockpit, as R2-D2 did before.

In the continuing use of "easter eggs" that so delight fans of the wider Star Wars universe:

*Space Whales were first seen in Star Wars animated series; Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels.

**R5 "Red" is also believed to be the same R5 droid that was "adjusted" by R2-D2 in the original Star Wars movie to ensure that R2 could be acquired by Luke Skywalker's family and so allow Luke to find Princess Leia's message to Obi-Wan Kenobi (stored inside R2), commencing the saga that continues to this day!

Revell's New Tool release will include parts to enable the builder to recreate any of the configurations as detailed above; Groguâ„¢ on Mando's lap, Groguâ„¢ standing in the astromech station, or "Red" in the astromech station with Groguâ„¢ on Mando's lap - the diorama potential is endless! And, at 1:24 scale (completed kit measures 457mm long), this ties in to aftermarket 70-75mm figures and accessories/weapons (many WWI/WWII-era), from which much of the original Star Wars "used galaxy" look was adapted and developed from.

In addition, the kit's decal sheet will include representations of the yellow paint sections left by the grinder, so the builder has the choice of paint or decals for these prominent areas.. Price:£41.64

North American B-25J Mitchell 'Strafer' Bomber Aircraft

Specialised ground-attack and anti-shipping variant of the twin-engine medium bomber, introduced during the second half of World War II. To maximise low-level firepower, the traditional glass bombardier nose was replaced with a solid structure housing eight fixed .50-caliber machine guns. Supported by additional fuselage blister pods, the aircraft could direct up to 14 forward-firing machine guns at a target. This heavy armament was primarily utilised in the Pacific Theatre to neutralise airfield defences and clear the anti-aircraft decks of naval vessels prior to low-altitude bomb runs.

The kit: Nose weight, Cartograf decal sheet, free poster. Choice of 2 markings:

Short S.25 Sunderland Mk.III/V Flying Boat

The Short S.25 Sunderland Mark III/V was a British maritime patrol flying boat of World War II. During the war, these aircraft operated over the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans, from the Arctic to the Tropics. German pilots nicknamed it the "Flying Porcupine" due to its powerful defensive armament. The Sunderland played a critical role in the Battle of the Atlantic, destroying around 28 German submarines and helping to sink seven more, earning it a reputation as a "U-Boat Killer". A Short Sunderland Mk. III (DD859) under the command of Flying Officer Albert Bishop, sank the German Type XIV submarine U-489, a supply and replenishment boat, on 4 August 1943.

The kit: 6 sprues. Choice of markings for three RAF aircraft.

Chinese Army ZTZ-100 Main Battle Tank

The ZTZ-100 (Type 100) is a fourth-generation main battle tank (MBT) developed for the People's Liberation Army (PLA). First displayed publicly during the 2025 Victory Day Parade, the vehicle is scheduled for induction into the PLA Ground Force between 2025 and 2026. Its design incorporates an unmanned turret and a three-person crew capsule located within the hull.
Primary armament is a 105 mm autoloaded gun. Secondary armament consists of a remote weapon station (RWS) mounting a 30 mm autocannon and a 12.7 mm machine gun for anti-infantry and light-armour engagements. Protection is provided by a combination of passive composite armour and a dual GL-6 Active Protection System (APS) intended to intercept guided missiles and top-attack munitions.
The vehicle utilises a 1,500 hp hybrid diesel-electric powertrain, providing a top speed of approximately 80 km/h (50 mph) and a reduced acoustic and thermal signature. As a network-integrated platform, the ZTZ-100 functions as a data node, linking with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), artillery, and other combat units for cooperative targeting and beyond-visual-range engagements.
The ZTZ-100 indicates a shift in Chinese armoured doctrine towards lighter, automated platforms. The design prioritises electronic integration and situational awareness over the traditional heavy-tank mass found in earlier ZTZ-96 or ZTZ-99 variants.

The kit: Hatches can be fitted open or closed. Moveable suspension and road wheels, workable tracks. Photo-etch parts included. Choice of 2 markings.. Price:£27.49

US Army M28A1/A2 Super Assault Tank

While the Super Heavy T28 never entered production, this version of the Takom kit explores the T28's 'mythical evolution', imagining how the vehicle might have been standardised for service. 'M28A1' and 'M28A2' are purely speculative nomenclature; they envisage a 'what if' scenario where the T28 was fitted with either the 155 mm T7 or 120 mm T53 guns—armaments that were actually tested on the subsequent T30 and T34 Heavy Tank prototypes.
The kit: Hatches can be fitted open or closed. Moveable suspension and road wheels. Clear parts, photo-etch, metal T53 120mm & T7 155mm gun barrels included. Workable tracks with assembly jig. Choice of 4 markings. (Figure not included).. Price:£44.16

US Army T28 Super Heavy Tank/Gun Motor Carriage T95
The T28, temporarily redesignated 105mm Gun Motor Carriage T95, was an American experimental super-heavy armoured vehicle developed during the final stages of the Second World War. Designed to break through heavily fortified German defensive lines along the Siegfried Line, the vehicle prioritised extreme frontal armour protection over speed or tactical mobility. Lacking a turret, its 105mm T5E1 gun was mounted in a fixed casemate, while power was provided by a Ford GAF-V-8 engine.

To distribute its immense weight, the T28/T95 employed a distinctive quadruple track configuration, with the two outer track units removable for transport. The end of the war and changing armoured doctrine rendered the concept obsolete, and the programme was cancelled. Only two prototypes were completed, one of which survives at Fort Benning (briefly known as Fort Moore), Georgia USA, as a rare example of late-war American super-heavy armour experimentation.
The kit: Hatches can be fitted open or closed. Moveable suspension and road wheels. Clear parts, photo-etch & metal barrel included. Workable tracks with assembly jig. Choice of 4 markings. (Figure not included).. Price:£44.16

Douglas C-54 Skymaster Transport Aircraft US Air Force

After the war the C-54 flew sustained high-frequency supply missions in the Berlin Airlift, along with Douglas Dakota, Avro York and Short Sunderland types, and formed the basis for later long-range transport designs.
