Our contract with ParcelForce does not allow us to send any parcels by surface post. They give us a large discount, which we pass on, and we do not get this for surface post so the cost for airmail is usually cheaper than a surface parcel would cost to send. Also surface parcels are not trackable and cannot be insured and take 3 times longer to arrive.
