Description:: T-45C/F9F-5 Korea Heritage. On 18 November 1952, Lt. Royce Williams engaged (7) Soviet MiG-15 aircraft in the longest dogfight in US Navy history. Lt. Williams scored (4) MiG kills on that mission.
After many years of this mission living in secrecy, Capt (Ret) Royce Williams was awarded the Medal of Honor during the State of the Union address.
This decal sheet captures the F9F-5 Panther aircraft that Lt. Williams flew on that mission. Full stencils decals are included for this aircraft.
On 3 September 2025, a T-45C Goshawk aircraft was painted to commemorate this historic accomplishment. Full stencils decals are also included for this aircraft.
