Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 Mainwheels - Diamond Tread. This set contains super detailed resin wheels featuring diamond tread tyres with petite, raised Tyre/Tire beading and data. Separate wheel nuts with and without uplocks are also included. This was a very common tread style for all Sea Furies. Sea Fury wheels were smaller than the 32" diameter wheels used on Fireflies, Tempests and Hornets. (designed to be used with Airfix kits) but can also be fitted to the Falcon, Hobbycraft or Trumpeter kits. Designed by Mike O'Hare.

Hawker Sea Fury Landing Gear Super detailed (3D-Printed) main landing gear struts and retracts, tailwheel leg and tailwheel designed specifically for the Airfix Sea Fury kit. Parts are (3D-Printed) in a tough, ABS like resin. Stronger than the kit parts, but not bulletproof like brass parts. The advantage is the superior detail and smooth, texture and seam free surfaces that brass parts frequently have. May be adapted for the Trumpeter, Hobbycraft, AMG and Falcon kits. Hawker Sea Fury 2 Tier RP-3 Rockets and rails This set contains four super detailed,(3D-Printed) 2-tier rockets and rails, as carried by Sea Furies and other a/c (8 rockets in 4 pairs). The rockets and rails are printed as one piece and the folded metal clips that hold the rocket to the rail are not molded solid, but accurately represent the open gaps in the clips. The separately printed 60 lb. rocket heads are super detailed, and the fins are nice and thin. The rockets are also accurately mounted, with the lower rocket's rear clip attaching to the exhaust nozzle, not forward of the fins, as on the kit parts. For Airfix, Trumpeter, and other kits. Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 Overseas Operators. Decals for Cuba, Libya and Egypt Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 The Hawker Sea Fury was a British fighter aircraft designed and manufactured by Hawker. It was the last propeller-driven fighter to serve with the Royal Navy, and also one of the fastest production single piston-engined aircraft ever built. Developed during the Second World War, the Sea Fury entered service two years after the war ended. The Sea Fury proved to be a popular aircraft with a number of overseas militaries, and was used during the Korean War in the early 1950s. The Sea Fury's development was formally initiated in 1943 in response to a wartime requirement of the RAF, thus the aircraft was initially named Fury. As the Second World War drew to a close, the RAF cancelled their order for the aircraft; however, the Royal Navy saw the type as a suitable carrier aircraft to replace a range of increasingly obsolete or poorly suited aircraft being operated by the Fleet Air Arm. Development of the Sea Fury proceeded, and the type began entering operational service in 1947.
