Description:: RNZAF North-American Mustangs, No.2 Wellington Squadron. "Checker Board" markings. Two options.

- NZ2419, 1954. In early 1953 Territorial Air Force (TAF) squadrons adopted checker board bars in provincial colours. Wellington's were yellow and black.

- NZ2423, 1955. This aircraft made the last RNZAF Mustang flight from Ohakea to Woodbourne on May 30th 1957. It has been restored by Brendon Deere and is now flying, based at Ohakea. (P-51D)
