A34 Comets of 23 Hussars, 11 Armoured Division Marking set covering 23 Hussars Comets of 11 Armoured Division. A couple of the tanks had names. Being the senior regiment of 11 AD, all squadron symbols would be red, thus a complete set is provided.
The allied recognition star is based on a known overhead view of a 11 AD Comet, the ring being thick. Thus, different from kit samples. Generic WDN digits provided, including pre...
A34 Comets of 3 RTR, 11 Armoured Division
Marking set covering 3 Royal Tank Regiment Comets of 11 Armoured Division. Probably the most photographed Comet unit during the war. Almost all had names starting with "C" regardless of which squadron. Some had personalised markings. Several AOS "52" squares and 11 AD Symbol variations were detected among the tanks, so were as faithfully captured as possible for the set. Being the sec...

The allied recognition star is based on a...

Covers 6 specific Panther Pz.Kpfw.V Ausf.Gs (early & lates) from 12. SS Panzer Division that saw action at Ardennes,1944 (plus 1 at Normandy). The colours of the numbers are white outlines on black, just like their Pz.Kpfw.IV counterparts in Normandy. LAH Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.Js, 1944-1945 (Pt.2). The final installment of LAH Panzer IVs during their last days of WWII, cover 6th & 8th Kompanie Ausf. Js. Not an easy set to cover as information is pretty scarce. Later version of "631" which was lost at Hassoumont was thought to be "601" earlier. The center digit "0" was actually "3". The proof was in the "broken outlines" of both digits and it matched "3" perfectly. "The stenciled ...
3. SS-Schw.Pz.Rgt. Pz.Kpfw.VI Tiger Is Kursk 1943 - Operation Citadel
Covers 10 specific Tiger I Earlys from 3. Schw.Pz.Rgt. "Totenkopf" during Operation Citadel, Kursk 1943. Of these, five tanks featured kill marks. The KwK 36 L/56 barrel has a slight tapered profile. When designing the ring artworks on a 2D flat, one must take the barrel taper seriously into consideration. Simply tapering the artwork alone is not enough. Th...
