Fairchild A-10C US Air National Guard "Nose Art"
Low-flying subsonic ground-attack twin-fanjet aircraft, maiden flight in May 1972. Nicknamed "Warthog" by USAF aircrew, more than 700 A-10s were built from 1973 to 1982 and the type is still in service with the US Air Force. A-10C is the current standard platform with further potential for life-extension.
