The Blackburn Shark was a British carrier-based torpedo bomber and reconnaissance aircraft developed by Blackburn Aircraft. Its prototype first flew in 1933, and the aircraft entered service with the Fleet Air Arm in 1934. The Shark was designed for operations from aircraft carriers and was also adapted for seaplane use. It served with the Royal Navy and later with other operators, including the Portuguese Navy and Royal Canadian Air Force.
