The M1133 Stryker MEV is the U.S. Army's armoured ambulance variant of the Stryker eight-wheeled vehicle family, built to provide protected casualty evacuation and basic en-route care for wounded personnel within a Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT). It is based on the Stryker Infantry Carrier Vehicle chassis, with an enlarged rear compartment featuring vertical walls and a raised roof to accommodate medical staff and patients comfortably while allowing space for medical equipment and movement.
